Korean men usually have to serve the army for 2 years. At the age of 20 years old, they have to make up their mind to take that compulsory service because we still remain divided into two nations. I was supposed to get there but my case was a bit special. I didn't service the army but instead, I took time off from university and I entered an entitled company that would need someone like me who could work with less salary and worked for as long as it was equal to the military duty. Of course, it was a good opportunity for me and I was able to get a lot of work experience for my young age at that time.
